इति खड्गमन्त्रः । एवं संपूज्य विधिना तं खङ्गं ब्राह्मणोत्तमैः । भ्रामयेन्नगरे रात्रौ नान्दीघोषपुरःसरम्
iti khaḍgamantraḥ | evaṃ saṃpūjya vidhinā taṃ khaṅgaṃ brāhmaṇottamaiḥ | bhrāmayennagare rātrau nāndīghoṣapuraḥsaram
So lautet das „Schwert-Mantra“. Nachdem die erlesensten Brāhmaṇas jenes Schwert nach Vorschrift verehrt haben, soll man es nachts durch die Stadt tragen, vorangehend von glückverheißenden Zurufen.
