तत्र स्नात्वा महादेवि यज्ञकोटिफलं लभेत् । तस्यैव कल्पनामानि शृणु ते कथयाम्यहम्
tatra snātvā mahādevi yajñakoṭiphalaṃ labhet | tasyaiva kalpanāmāni śṛṇu te kathayāmyaham
O Mahādevī, wer dort badet, erlangt die Frucht von einem Koṭi an Yajñas, zehn Millionen Opferhandlungen. Nun höre: Ich werde dir die Namen nennen, unter denen eben dieses Tīrtha in den verschiedenen Kalpas bekannt ist.
