Type: kshetra
Listener: A 'priye'-addressed interlocutor implied by surrounding verses (beloved/consort figure)
Scene: A pilgrim with folded hands beholds the radiant liṅga; the atmosphere suggests a lunar festival (Soma-parvan) with lamps, white offerings, and disciplined ascetics staying nearby.
Pilgrimage is not only ritual—pure conduct and self-restraint, joined with darśana of the Liṅga, quickly yields the promised spiritual fruit.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Prabhāsakṣetra), where the praised Liṅga is to be visited.
Observing Soma-parvan with śauca (purity) and disciplined presence at the kṣetra, centered on Liṅga-darśana.
