Transliteration

daśaratha uvāca | rohiṇīṃ bhedayitvā tu na gaṃtavyaṃ tvayā śane | saritaḥ sāgarā yāvadyāvaccadrārkamedinī

Translation

Daśaratha sprach: „O Śani, nachdem du Rohiṇī durchbohrt hast, sollst du nicht weitergehen—solange die Flüsse ins Meer strömen und solange Mond, Sonne und Erde bestehen.“
