Type: ghat
Scene: A sacred ford known as Naratīrtha where a pilgrim (echoing Arjuna) emerges purified; the atmosphere is calm, with symbolic ‘fear’ dissolving—dark clouds parting into clear light.
Atonement performed with sincerity at a sanctified site is said to dissolve past sin and the anxiety it produces.
Naratīrtha in Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
The verse implies prāyaścitta leading to release from pātaka; no specific rite details are enumerated here.
