आवां देवानृषींश्चैव प्रीणयाव स्वकर्मभिः । न चास्य विद्वो वै कर्म न तथा लक्षणं यश
āvāṃ devānṛṣīṃścaiva prīṇayāva svakarmabhiḥ | na cāsya vidvo vai karma na tathā lakṣaṇaṃ yaśa
„Durch unsere eigenen Pflichten erfreuen wir sowohl die Götter als auch die ṛṣis. Doch kennen wir seine Taten nicht in ihrer Fülle, noch in gleichem Maße seine Zeichen und seinen Ruhm.“
