विना तेन कथं पुत्र त्वया प्राणा विधारिताः । तां तथा जननीं प्राह स च बाष्पाविलेक्षणाम्

vinā tena kathaṃ putra tvayā prāṇā vidhāritāḥ | tāṃ tathā jananīṃ prāha sa ca bāṣpāvilekṣaṇām

„Ohne dies, mein Sohn, wie hast du deine Lebenshauche bewahrt?“ So sprach er zu seiner Mutter, deren Augen von Tränen verschleiert waren.
