Ṛṣayaḥ (the sages)
Tirtha: Sūrya-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Vālmīki
Scene: A bounded sacred precinct around the nimba-root shrine is shown, with pilgrims residing in simple huts; above, a radiant solar disc signifies Sūrya-kṣetra; the sages proclaim assured heaven for residents.
Even a small sacred boundary becomes vast in merit when it is a divinely charged kṣetra; association with it yields great spiritual fruit.
Sūryakṣetra within Prabhāsa-kṣetra, measured as a gavyūti.
No specific rite is mandated; the verse emphasizes the merit of staying/dwelling within the kṣetra.
