Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva, pleased, appears before the Siddhas performing austerities near the Siddheśvara liṅga and grants them radiant yogic powers; subtle depiction of aṇimā as miniaturized luminous forms and other siddhi symbols.
Austerity (tapas) ripens into grace: Śiva grants siddhis when devotion and discipline are authentic.
Siddheśvara in Prabhāsa Kṣetra, where the Siddhas’ worship is linked to divine boons.
No specific rite is prescribed here; the verse highlights tapas and devotion as the cause of Śiva’s bestowal of siddhis.
