Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 52

वस्त्रयुग्मं ततो दत्त्वा गां च दत्त्वा विसर्जयेत्

vastrayugmaṃ tato dattvā gāṃ ca dattvā visarjayet

Dann, nachdem man ein Paar Gewänder dargebracht und auch eine Kuh gespendet hat, soll man das Ritual beschließen und die Observanz feierlich verabschieden.
