Transliteration

gṛhāṇāṃ tu sahasrāṇi dīnānāthāśrayāṇi ca | kārayitvā vidhānena viprebhyaḥ pradadau pṛthak

Translation

Er ließ Tausende von Häusern errichten—auch Zufluchten für Arme und Schutzlose—und schenkte sie, dem rechten Verfahren gemäß, einzeln den Brāhmaṇas.
