एष गच्छामि पदवीं सत्ये तव पथे सदा । सौप्तिके निहता ये च सुप्तास्तेन दुरात्मना

Transliteration

eṣa gacchāmi padavīṃ satye tava pathe sadā | sauptike nihatā ye ca suptāstena durātmanā

Translation

„O Wahrhaftiger, stets will ich deinen Pfad gehen.“ Und (ich meine) jene, die im Schlaf beim nächtlichen Überfall (Sauptika) von jenem Bösewicht erschlagen wurden.
