Transliteration

anvakurvannulūkāśca vāyasānvṛṣṇiveśmasu | ajāḥ śivānāṃ ca rutamanvakurvata bhāmini

Translation

In den Häusern der Vṛṣṇis begannen die Eulen, den Rufen der Krähen zu antworten; und selbst die Ziegen ahmten—o Schöne—das unheilvolle Heulen der Schakale nach und kündeten Unheil an.
