Deductive (Prabhāsakṣetramāhātmya narrator addressing Devī in dialogue-context)
Tirtha: Liṅga-traya of Prabhāsa (incl. Śatamedha etc., per chapter title)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (Pārvatī)
Scene: A pilgrim couple stands before a liṅga shrine; a learned brāhmaṇa recites the liṅga-nāmas; nearby, a decorated cow is gifted with water-pot and cloth, signifying go-dāna as the yātrā’s crowning act.
Pilgrimage becomes ‘complete’ when devotion is joined with dāna—especially compassionate giving like godāna.
The tri-liṅga sacred zone of Prabhāsa Kṣetra (Śatamedha, Koṭimedha, Sahasrakratu).
Godāna (donation of a cow) is prescribed for those seeking the full fruit of the yātrā.
