ततः प्रभृति तत्क्षेत्रं प्रभासमिति विश्रुतम् । निष्प्रभस्य प्रभा दत्ता प्रभासं तेन चोच्यते

Transliteration

tataḥ prabhṛti tatkṣetraṃ prabhāsamiti viśrutam | niṣprabhasya prabhā dattā prabhāsaṃ tena cocyate

Translation

Von da an wurde jene heilige Gegend als „Prabhāsa“ berühmt. Denn einem, der ohne Glanz geworden war, wurde Strahlkraft verliehen; darum heißt sie Prabhāsa.
