Type: kshetra
Listener: Candra
Scene: Two contrasted groups: on one side, deluded men scowl at ascetic Brāhmaṇas; on the other, devotees offer flowers and food. Above, Śiva’s gaze aligns with the honored group, while the hateful group is shown in shadow, indicating spiritual self-harm.
Devotion is tested through conduct: reverence to disciplined Brāhmaṇas is counted as worship of Śiva; hatred becomes an offense against Him.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, where Śaiva teaching is framed as a māhātmya instruction.
Pūjā/satkāra of vowed Brāhmaṇas, explicitly equated with worship of Śiva.
