कला देवि यदाद्यंतमनादिमजमव्ययम् । तदान्वितः शशी तस्यामधोमुखमवस्थितः

Transliteration

kalā devi yadādyaṃtamanādimajamavyayam | tadānvitaḥ śaśī tasyāmadhomukhamavasthitaḥ

Translation

O Devī, die «Kalā» ist das, was Anfang und Ende hat; das (Höchste) aber ist anfangslos, ungeboren und unvergänglich. Mit jener Kalā verbunden, steht der Mond dort, das Antlitz nach unten gewandt.
