Type: kshetra
Listener: Pārvatī
Scene: A pilgrim, having completed snāna, respectfully offers yellow cloth, a small gold piece, and a well-adorned cow to a seated brāhmaṇa near a shrine; attendants witness the solemn exchange.
Pilgrimage is completed by generosity: dāna to worthy recipients seals and amplifies the merit of visiting a tīrtha.
The tīrtha-region discussed in Adhyāya 183 of Prabhāsa-kṣetra Māhātmya, centered on Trisaṅgama/Miśratīrtha.
Give yellow cloth, gold, and a cow as dāna to a brāhmaṇa to obtain the proper fruit of the pilgrimage.
