ईश्वर उवाच । अथ पूजाविधानं ते कथयामि यशस्विनि । वेदमार्गेण दिव्येन ब्राह्मणानां हिताय वै

īśvara uvāca | atha pūjāvidhānaṃ te kathayāmi yaśasvini | vedamārgeṇa divyena brāhmaṇānāṃ hitāya vai

Īśvara sprach: Nun will ich dir die Ordnung der Verehrung darlegen, o Ruhmreiche; nach dem göttlichen vedischen Pfad, wahrlich zum Wohle der Brahmanen.
