क्षीणायुरेष ते भर्ता संनिधौ ते पतिव्रते । न शक्यः किंकरैर्नेतुमतोऽहं स्वयमागतः

kṣīṇāyureṣa te bhartā saṃnidhau te pativrate | na śakyaḥ kiṃkarairnetumato'haṃ svayamāgataḥ

«Die Lebensspanne deines Gatten ist erschöpft, o treue Ehefrau (pativratā). In deiner Gegenwart können meine Diener ihn nicht fortführen; darum bin ich selbst gekommen.»
