Transliteration

hṛtāṃ śatrugaṇaiḥ patnīṃ pare pāre mahodadheḥ | na ca tvaṃ jñāyase sītāṃ śokopahacetanaḥ

Translation

Wenn deine Gattin von Scharen der Feinde an das ferne jenseitige Ufer des großen Ozeans geraubt wird, wirst du sie nicht erkennen, da dein Bewusstsein vom Kummer überwältigt ist.
