Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 6

FAQs

A tīrtha’s greatness is not merely local—its sanctity can be cosmic, concentrating merits of many realms through divine tapas.

Brahmakuṇḍa at Prabhāsa-kṣetra, praised as a gathering-place of countless tīrthas.

No direct instruction; it explains the tīrtha’s māhātmya—why bathing/visitation there is considered exceptionally potent.
