Vasiṣṭha (continuing the gāthā; deduced)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (dāna-sthāna within the circuit)
Type: kshetra
Listener: The same interlocutor in the Prabhāsa-mahātmya dialogue
Scene: A vow-observant pilgrim offers a new pair of sandals to a brāhmaṇa at Prabhāsa; in a visionary overlay, the donor is shown honored in Viṣṇuloka, seated on or mounted upon a splendid celestial vehicle.
Pilgrimage is completed by charity; humble gifts offered with discipline become causes for divine honor and higher realms.
The same ‘there’ refers to Puṣkara/Viṣṇupada tīrtha context described in the preceding verse.
Dāna: gifting a pair of sandals (upānahau) to a brāhmaṇa, performed with vow-discipline (yata-vrata).
