Transliteration

sthāpitaṃ lakṣmaṇenaiva tatra yātrāgatena vai | mahāpāpaharaṃ devi talliṃgaṃ surapūjitam

Translation

Jener Liṅga wurde wahrlich von Lakṣmaṇa selbst dort errichtet, als er auf Pilgerfahrt dorthin gelangte. O Göttin, er tilgt große Sünden und wird von den Göttern verehrt.
