अथवा तेन लोकेषु प्रभासमिति कीर्त्यते । प्रथमं भासते देवि सर्वेषां भुवि तेजसाम् । तीर्थानामादितीर्थं यत्प्रभासं तेन कीर्त्तितम्
athavā tena lokeṣu prabhāsamiti kīrtyate | prathamaṃ bhāsate devi sarveṣāṃ bhuvi tejasām | tīrthānāmāditīrthaṃ yatprabhāsaṃ tena kīrttitam
„Oder eben deshalb wird es in den Welten als ‚Prabhāsa‘ gerühmt. O Devī, es leuchtet als erstes unter allen Lichtern auf Erden. Und weil es die ursprüngliche Tīrtha unter den Tīrthas ist, wird es darum Prabhāsa genannt.“
