तपसि पचसि विश्वं पासि भस्मीकरोषि प्रकटयसि मयूखैर्ह्लादयतस्यंशुगर्भैः । सृजसि कमलजन्मा पालयस्यच्युताख्यः क्षपयसि च युगांते रुद्ररूपस्त्वमेकः
tapasi pacasi viśvaṃ pāsi bhasmīkaroṣi prakaṭayasi mayūkhairhlādayatasyaṃśugarbhaiḥ | sṛjasi kamalajanmā pālayasyacyutākhyaḥ kṣapayasi ca yugāṃte rudrarūpastvamekaḥ
Du erhitzt und lässt das Weltall reifen; du beschützt es und machst es auch zu Asche. Mit Strahlen, die Wonne im Schoß ihres Lichtes tragen, offenbarst und erleuchtest du alles. Du erschaffst als der Lotosgeborene (Brahmā), du erhältst als der Unvergängliche (Viṣṇu), und am Ende des Yuga löst du auf als Rudra—und doch bist du Einer.
