Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 42

फलानि चैव पक्वानि मूलमंत्रेण दापयेत् । ऋग्वेदं च यजुर्वेदं सामवेदं च पूजयेत्

phalāni caiva pakvāni mūlamaṃtreṇa dāpayet | ṛgvedaṃ ca yajurvedaṃ sāmavedaṃ ca pūjayet

Man soll reife Früchte unter Rezitation der Mūla-Mantra darbringen; und ebenso Ṛgveda, Yajurveda und Sāmaveda verehren.
