ईश्वर उवाच । साधुसाधु महादेवि सम्यक्प्रश्नविशारदे । शृणुष्वैकमना भूत्वा माहात्म्यं विप्रदैवतम्
īśvara uvāca | sādhusādhu mahādevi samyakpraśnaviśārade | śṛṇuṣvaikamanā bhūtvā māhātmyaṃ vipradaivatam
Īśvara sprach: „Wohl gesprochen, wohl gesprochen, o Mahādevī, kundig im rechten Fragen. Höre mit einspitzigem Geist die Größe der Brāhmaṇas, die selbst eine Gestalt des Göttlichen sind.“
