लोके लोकेश्वराश्चापि सर्वे ब्राह्मणपूजकाः । ततस्तान्नावमन्येत यदीच्छेज्जीवितं चिरम्

Transliteration

loke lokeśvarāścāpi sarve brāhmaṇapūjakāḥ | tatastānnāvamanyeta yadīcchejjīvitaṃ ciram

Translation

Selbst die Herrscher der Welten sind allesamt Verehrer der Brāhmaṇas. Darum soll man sie nicht geringschätzen, wenn man langes Leben begehrt.
