दत्त्वा चार्घ्यं शिखां बद्ध्वा संस्मृत्य जलशायिनम् । कुर्याच्च प्राङ्मुखः स्नानं ततः प्रत्यङ्मुखस्तथा

Transliteration

dattvā cārghyaṃ śikhāṃ baddhvā saṃsmṛtya jalaśāyinam | kuryācca prāṅmukhaḥ snānaṃ tataḥ pratyaṅmukhastathā

Translation

Nachdem man Arghya dargebracht und den Scheitelknoten gebunden hat, im Gedenken an den Herrn, der auf den Wassern ruht, soll man das Bad nach Osten gewandt vollziehen; danach ebenso nach Westen gewandt.
