Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 5

FAQs

In Kali-yuga, steadfast refuge in a supremely sacred kṣetra like Dvārakā is praised as a direct means to life’s fulfillment and spiritual steadiness.

Dvārakā, the famed sacred city of Śrī Kṛṣṇa on the western coast, is glorified as a sustaining refuge in Kali-yuga.

No specific rite is prescribed here; the emphasis is on not abandoning Dvārakā—i.e., residing, remaining devoted, and keeping association with the holy place.
