शुक्रवारेष्वपि तथा वर्षान्नृपसमो भवेत् । पंचम्यां तु विशेषेण प्राग्वद्धोमं समाचरेत् ॥ ११९ ॥
śukravāreṣvapi tathā varṣānnṛpasamo bhavet | paṃcamyāṃ tu viśeṣeṇa prāgvaddhomaṃ samācaret || 119 ||
Ebenso gilt: Wenn man diese Observanz auch an Freitagen vollzieht, wird man im Verlauf eines ganzen Jahres einem König gleich. Doch besonders am Tithi Pañcamī (fünfter Mondtag) soll man das Homa genau so ausführen, wie es zuvor vorgeschrieben wurde.
