Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches a combined method of inner visualization (dhyāna) and outer worship (arcana): the devotee installs moon-like purity and cool brilliance upon the Śiva-liṅga, then fixes awareness on Sadāśiva within the lamp-flame, making worship steady, luminous, and enduring.
Bhakti here is expressed as attentive presence: the devotee lovingly visualizes Śiva, focuses on a sacred support (liṅga and dīpa), and offers mantra-based worship through the pañcākṣarī, uniting heart, mind, and ritual action.
It reflects mantra-prayoga and ritual procedure: correct use of a fixed mantra (pañcākṣarī) with a prescribed meditation-support (lamp and liṅga), aligning practice with disciplined recitation and structured worship rather than improvised devotion.
