Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 9

Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā

तत्तत्सप्तमनीचानि प्राङ्मध्यांत्यांशकाः क्रमात् । वर्गोत्तमाश्चराधेषु भावाद्द्वादश मूर्तिमान् ॥ ९ ॥

tattatsaptamanīcāni prāṅmadhyāṃtyāṃśakāḥ kramāt | vargottamāścarādheṣu bhāvāddvādaśa mūrtimān || 9 ||

In jedem Haus (bhāva) ist die siebte Teilung der Punkt der Schwäche (Debilitation); die Abschnitte sind der Reihe nach als erster, mittlerer und letzter Teil geordnet. Bei beweglichen Zeichen und den übrigen wird die Vorzüglichkeit der Teilkraft aus dem betreffenden bhāva bestimmt; so werden die zwölf Häuser in ihren Wirkungen gleichsam verkörpert und klar bestimmt.
