पृथक् तत्क्रांत्यक्षभागसंस्कृतौ स्युर्नतांशकाः । तद्दिघ्नांशकृतिद्व्यूनार्द्धार्कयुता हरिः ॥ १५९ ॥
pṛthak tatkrāṃtyakṣabhāgasaṃskṛtau syurnatāṃśakāḥ | taddighnāṃśakṛtidvyūnārddhārkayutā hariḥ || 159 ||
Wenn die krānti (Deklination) der Sonne und der Anteil des akṣa (irdische Breite) getrennt berechnet werden, heißen die entstehenden Größen „natāṃśaka“, also Teile der Deklination. Der Divisor „harī“ wird gewonnen, indem man das Doppelte des Quadrats der Grade mit jenem Wert multipliziert, zwei abzieht und dann die Hälfte des im Rechenverfahren verwendeten Sonnenmaßes hinzufügt.
