Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa
बुद्धिभक्षार्थयोः शब्दकर्मकाणां निजेच्छया । प्रयोज्य कर्मण्यन्येषां ण्यंतानां लादयो मताः ॥ ८७ ॥
buddhibhakṣārthayoḥ śabdakarmakāṇāṃ nijecchayā | prayojya karmaṇyanyeṣāṃ ṇyaṃtānāṃ lādayo matāḥ || 87 ||
Bei Verben mit der Bedeutung „wissen machen“ oder „essen machen“ sowie bei Verben, die ein als Wort ausgedrücktes Objekt nehmen, kann die Kausativform (ṇyanta) nach eigenem Ermessen verwendet werden. Und auch bei anderen Verben versteht man, dass die la-Endungen (la-ādi) auf solche Kausativformen anzuwenden sind, wenn sie im Sinn gebraucht werden, einen anderen handeln zu lassen.
