Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: none
It frames precise understanding of speech (śabda) through Vyākaraṇa as a support for right knowledge; clarity about action and result aids disciplined study of śāstra, which is treated as a means toward Mokṣa-oriented discernment.
Indirectly: by sharpening grammatical comprehension, it strengthens correct recitation, hearing, and interpretation of Vishnu-centered teachings—supporting bhakti practices that rely on accurate mantra and śāstra understanding.
Vyākaraṇa (grammar): it distinguishes the dhātu’s relation to action (vyāpāra) and result (phala), and explains that tiṅ-endings contribute qualifying information such as person/number/tense/mood to the verb’s meaning.
