आकाशं पवनोऽन्वेति ज्योतिस्तमनुगच्छति । तेषां त्रयाणामेकत्वाद्वयं भूमौ प्रतिष्टितम् ॥ २८ ॥
ākāśaṃ pavano'nveti jyotistamanugacchati | teṣāṃ trayāṇāmekatvādvayaṃ bhūmau pratiṣṭitam || 28 ||
Die Luft folgt (und hängt ab von) dem Raum, und das Feuer folgt (und hängt ab von) jener Luft. Weil diese drei ihrem Wesen nach eine verflochtene Einheit sind, wird das verbleibende Paar (Wasser und Erde) auf der Erdebene als fester Halt gegründet.
