ती॒र्थैस्त॑रन्ति प्र॒वतो॑ म॒हीरिति॑ यज्ञ॒कृतः॑ सु॒कृतो॒ येन॒ यन्ति॑ । अत्रा॑दधु॒र्यज॑मानाय लो॒कं दिशो॑ भू॒तानि॒ यदक॑ल्पयन्त
tī́rthaís taranti praváto mahī́r íti yajñakṛ́taḥ sukṛ́to yéna yánti | átrā́dadhuḥ yájamānāya lokáṃ díśo bhūtā́ni yád ákalpayanta
‘By the fords they cross the mighty slopes’: thus go the sacrifice-makers, the well-deserving, by that same way. Here have they established for the Sacrificer a world, when the Directions and the Beings set all in order.
„An den Furten überqueren sie die mächtigen Hänge“ — so gehen die Opferwirkenden, die Wohlverdienten, auf eben diesem Weg. Hier haben sie dem Opferherrn eine Welt gegründet, als die Himmelsrichtungen und die Wesen alles ordneten, wie es sich gebührt.
