सोमो॑ मा॒ विश्वै॑र्दे॒वैरुदी॑च्या दि॒शः पा॑तु बाहु॒च्युता॑ पृथि॒वी द्यामि॑वो॒परि॑ । लो॒क॒कृतः॑ पथि॒कृतो॑ यजामहे॒ ये दे॒वानां॑ हु॒तभा॑गा इ॒ह स्थ
sómo mā víśvair deváir udī́cyā diśáḥ pātu bāhucyútā pṛthivī́ dyā́m iva úpari | lokakṛ́taḥ pathikṛ́to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṃ hutábhāgā ihá sthá ||
May Soma, with all the Gods, guard me from the northern quarter; and Earth, slipped from my arm, be over me as it were the Sky. The world-ordainers, the path-ordainers—those who have their portion of oblation among the Gods—we worship: here may they stand.
Soma, mit allen Göttern, schütze mich aus der nördlichen Himmelsrichtung; und die Erde, die von meinem Arm geglitten ist, sei über mir wie der Himmel. Die Welt-Ordner, die Weg-Ordner — jene, denen unter den Göttern der Anteil an der Opfergabe zukommt — verehren wir: hier mögen sie stehen.
