ये अग्र॑वः शशमा॒नाः प॑रे॒युर्हि॒त्वा द्वेषां॒स्यन॑पत्यवन्तः । ते द्यामु॒दित्या॑विदन्त लो॒कं नाक॑स्य पृ॒ष्ठे अधि॒ दीध्या॑नाः
yé ágravāḥ śaśamānā́ḥ paréyur hitvā́ dvéṣāṃsy ánapaty-vantaḥ | té dyā́m udítyā́ ávidanta lokáṃ nā́kasya pṛṣṭhé ádhi dī́dhyānāḥ ||
They who, the foremost, striving, passed beyond—leaving behind their hatreds, though childless—these found, with the uprising, a world in heaven, shining upon the ridge of the highest firmament.
Die, die als die Vordersten, im Ringen und Streben, hinübergingen — ihre Feindschaften zurücklassend, obgleich kinderlos — die fanden, mit dem Aufgang, eine Welt im Himmel, leuchtend auf dem Rücken des höchsten Firmaments.
