बालकाण्डे षट्सप्ततितमः सर्गः

Rāma Subdues Paraśurāma; the Vaiṣṇava Arrow Is Discharged

तेजोभिहतवीर्यत्वाज्जामदग्न्यो जडीकृत:।रामं कमलपत्राक्षं मन्दं मन्दमुवाच ह।।।।

tejobhi hatavīryatvāj jāmadagnyo jaḍīkṛtaḥ | rāmaṃ kamalapatrākṣaṃ mandaṃ mandam uvāca ha ||

রামের তেজে যার বীর্য দমিত হল, সেই জামদগ্ন্য স্থির-জড় হয়ে গেল। কমলপত্রনয়ন রামকে সে ধীরে ধীরে, বারবার মৃদু স্বরে বলল।
