Sūta (continuing narration)
Type: ghat
Scene: Pilgrims bathe at a serene tīrtha on Pratipad under a radiant Sunday sun; a formerly sick devotee emerges renewed, while priests chant on the bank.
A tīrtha’s grace, approached with proper time and faith, is said to dissolve even severe afflictions.
Yakṣma-tīrtha (within the Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra Māhātmya of Nāgara Khaṇḍa).
Perform snāna at the tīrtha on Pratipad, specifically when it coincides with Sunday (Sūryavāra).
