darśāṣṭakāsu bhūtāyāṃ śrāddhikaṃ pratigṛhya ca | pratipadyapi pūrṇāyāṃ gajoṣṭrābhyāṃ kṛtāṃtare

দৰ্শা আৰু অষ্টকা তিথিত, ভূতা (অশুভ) দিনত, শ্ৰাদ্ধৰ অৰ্থে দান গ্ৰহণ কৰাৰ পাছত, আৰু পূৰ্ণিমাৰ পাছৰ প্ৰতিপদাতো—হাতী আৰু উটৰ উপস্থিতিত অন্তৰায় ঘটিলে—সেই সময়ক বেদাধ্যয়নৰ অনধ্যায় বুলি গণ্য কৰিব লাগে।
