श्रीवराह उवाच । दूर्जयेन जितो धात्री देवराजः शतक्रतुः । भारते हि तदा वर्षे वाराणस्यां तु पूर्वतः । आश्रित्य संस्थितो देवैः सह यक्षमहोरगैः ॥ १६.५ ॥
śrīvarāha uvāca | dūrjayena jito dhātrī devarājaḥ śatakratuḥ | bhārate hi tadā varṣe vārāṇasyāṃ tu pūrvataḥ | āśritya saṃsthito devaiḥ saha yakṣamahoragaiḥ || 16.5 ||
قال شري ڤاراهَا: «يا دْهاتْرِي، يا مُقيمَ العالم! إنَّ إندرا، ملكَ الآلهة، شَتَكْرَتُو مُقيمَ مئةِ شعيرة، لمّا هُزِمَ على يدِ دُورْجَيَا، لجأ في ذلك الحين في بهاراتا-ڤرشا، وأقام إلى شرقي ڤاراناسي، مع الآلهة والياكشا والحيات العظام».
