grāme vā yadi vāraṇye puṇyā sarvatra narmadā | revātīre vasennityaṃ revātoyaṃ sadā pibet

سواء في القرية أو في الغابة، فإن نَرْمَدَا مقدّسة في كل مكان. فليقم المرء دائمًا على ضفاف رِيفَا، وليشرب على الدوام من مياه رِيفَا.
