अयं दक्षाय साधनोऽयं शर्धाय वीतये । अयं देवेभ्यो मधुमत्तमः सुतः ॥
Transliteration
ayáṃ dákṣāya sā́dhano ’yáṃ śárdhāya vītáye | ayáṃ devébhyo mádhumattamaḥ sutáḥ ||
Translation
هذا السُّوما مُنجِزٌ للدَّكشا (dakṣa: مهارةُ التمييز والقوّةُ العاقلة)؛ وهذا لِـ«الشَّردها» (śardha: الجماعة/الحشد) لِلاستمتاعِ القويمِ والتلقّي. وهذا، بعد أن عُصِر، للآلهةِ أَعذَبُهُ عَسَلاً—أكثَرُهُ امتلاءً بالحلاوةِ والبهجة.
