गोदावर्य्यां भवेत्पुण्यं वसतो वर्षसंख्यया । तत्फलं समवाप्नोति गोमतीसेवनाद्द्विजाः
godāvaryyāṃ bhavetpuṇyaṃ vasato varṣasaṃkhyayā | tatphalaṃ samavāpnoti gomatīsevanāddvijāḥ
噫，二生者（dvija）啊！居于戈达瓦丽河（Godāvarī）岸边多年所生之功德——仅以虔敬亲近、奉事圣洁的戈摩提河（Gomatī），亦能获得同等果报。
