mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | tato varṣaśate prāpte gatvā dvāravatīṃ purīm | prāṇānkṛṣṇopadeśena tyaktvā mokṣaṃ jagāma ha
马尔坎德耶说道:其后百年既满,他前往都城德瓦拉瓦蒂;依克里希纳之教诲舍离生命之息,确然证得解脱(mokṣa)。
Mārkaṇḍeya
Tirtha: Dvārakā (Dvāravatī)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Indradyumna
Scene: A venerable sage, after a century of life, journeys to ocean-girt Dvārakā; seated in yogic composure, he relinquishes prāṇa by Kṛṣṇa’s instruction and attains mokṣa.
Liberation is attainable through divine instruction and right departure of prāṇa, especially when aligned with a sanctified place and steadfast devotion.
Dvāravatī (Dvārakā) is explicitly glorified as the setting where mokṣa is attained.
No formal ritual is described; the means highlighted is Kṛṣṇa’s upadeśa (spiritual instruction) culminating in relinquishing prāṇa for mokṣa.
