कारयंति हि ये त्वज्ञाः कूटयुक्ताश्च हेतुकाः । प्रेतयोनिं प्रयास्यंति पितृभिः सह सर्वतः

Transliteration

kārayaṃti hi ye tvajñāḥ kūṭayuktāśca hetukāḥ | pretayoniṃ prayāsyaṃti pitṛbhiḥ saha sarvataḥ

Translation

诚然，那些无知之人——狡黠而以种种托辞争辩——使人行持此等有过之戒者，将与其祖先一同，处处堕入饿鬼（preta）之趣。
